I'll sum it up quick. Note... be careful of the limitations set upon by the ISP
specifically bandwidth limitations... I have unlimited up/down but it really
depends on where you live
I've had both cable and dsl... and DSL is the way to go but cable has its plus
sides too!
Don't forget to factor in other stuff like newsgroup access and such.
DSL -
good:
Fast / usually unaffected by uploading (good for BT) / It is not shared with
other people dedicated line / stable
bad:
Distance to your closest regenerator or switching station (either a small box
or the actual building. The maximum distance for any DSL to be decent is approx
6KM or ~ 3.75Miles
so the farther you live the more likely that you'll have lower speeds.
Cable:
good:
Typically faster then DSL (though once again... dependant on the ISP
offerings... I'm basing it off the two major ones in my area)
bad:
shared line speed may drop during peak hours / uploading kills the download
speed (even for surfing and especially if your upload cap is very small
(~20KB/s)
usually some ISP's may offer trials! so try it out and if it doesnt work out
then... go to another.

only displays the top 50... and does not have the home page link... we'll lets

it's everyone.... some people are submitting links with meta tags in them so it just redirects to the adv page.
